Privacy at SubMergence

We ask for very little, and we treat what you share the way we treat the water: with care, and without muddying it.

SubMergence is a small operation on Kaua'i. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you give us when you reach out through this website. There is no tracking economy behind the curtain — just enough to reply to you and keep the forms honest.

What we collect

When you submit one of our forms — a partner inquiry, a rental or ownership question, a music interest note, a private-session request, or a general message — we receive only what you choose to type, plus a little technical context:

• Your email address, so we can write back.
• What you tell us in the form fields (your name, your question, your shop or location, and similar details you enter).
• The consent text and version you agreed to when you submitted, recorded so we both know what was agreed.
• The page you submitted from (the source path), so we understand which conversation you're starting.
• A short-lived record of your network address (IP), kept only to rate-limit the forms and keep automated spam out. It is not used to profile you.

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not fingerprint you, and we do not ask for anything we don't need to answer you well.

Why we collect it

One reason: to follow up with you. Your details are used to reply to your inquiry, to coordinate a rental, partnership, session, or music conversation, and to keep the forms safe from abuse. That's it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only services that ever touch your message are the ones that deliver it to us (our hosting and email delivery), acting on our behalf so we can read and answer it.

How long we keep it

We hold what you send for as long as it's useful to the conversation you started — and no longer once you ask us to let it go. The brief network-address record used for rate-limiting expires on its own in a short window. Everything else is kept until you request deletion.

How to ask us to delete it

You can ask us to delete the information you've shared at any time, and we will. Reach us through the contact page, or email us at [email protected] with the address you used, and we'll remove your details from our records.

Children

This site and its forms are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If a guest is a minor, a parent or guardian should be the one to reach out.

Changes to this notice

As SubMergence grows beyond Kaua'i, this notice may be updated to stay accurate. When it changes in a meaningful way, the updated version will simply live here.
